J2K CHISWICK VENUE

    FESTIVE SEASON
Well once again the festive season is upon us and here at J2K we are polishing up our decorative balls and getting the tree ready! We are presenting just one concert in December but what a night it’ll be. The J2K Christmas Special is on the 14th December this year and will feature outstanding vocalist ZENA JAMES together with one of the UK’s best sax players SIMON ALLEN, plus the top J2K rhythm section featuring Peter Hammond (piano, organ) and Nick France (drums).

A night of great music, Christmas cheer and even mince pies awaits. We’d like to wish all our supporters a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS and hope you will all be coming to our various performance offerings in the New Year.

Christmas Special tickets are £7 in advance, £6 in advance for block bookings of 5 or more tickets, or £8 on the door. The concert starts at 8.30pm

    PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD
So far the J2K concerts have received much praise from the public and each performance has had a different flavour and special quality. We need to keep the attendance numbers up though so please tell your friends, family and colleagues and get them along for a great night out.

The concerts start at 8.30pm every Wednesday evening. There is a stage, lighting and PA and the auditorium seats about 200 people at brand new tables and chairs. There's a bar at the back and the pub serves excellent food too. The whole place is newly decorated, has a great atmosphere and is already a thriving comedy venue on Friday and Saturday nights.

J2K ONE OF THE 50 BEST UK VENUES

No, it's not just a fanciful claim on our behalf. The Independent newspaper included J2K at our previous venue, the King's Head Acton, as part of their 50 best UK jazz venues in their Information supplement in March 2002. This was a great boost to us and really goes to show that our efforts have been worthwhile.

    OUR MISSION

J2K is a venture in modern jazz promotion at local venues. The emphasis at J2K sessions is on quality of presentation as well as quality of performance. This somewhat refreshing approach seems to be making a big difference to the public.
